A Note from Jen...................
Wow!!! What a great week! We were all so busy visiting with each other, meeting new friends --both two and four legged! We spent time staying active. mentally and physically!
We had animal therapy this week! We had dogs in to snuggle with and watch do tricks then later in the week we had a majestic horse FireDrake stop in to let us pet him, learn about him and even give him a snack! A few of us had horses growing up, so this was a great memory jogger!
We also had Pastor Mara stop in to share her good word and pray with us. Coming together for that spiritual experience was just wonderful!
We also stayed busy with brain games like word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and name that tune when Alexa played our favorite hits! We enjoyed exercises, our group gets a little bigger each day! I think the ones skipping it hear all the laughter and music and sure enough they come out the next day!
We also did wellness walks which always seems to energize us! Yes, it surely was an awesome week! Cannot wait for the weekend to be over so we can see what next week brings! A Little birdie told me Jen & Amy were planning something that involves ICE CREAM!
