Every single member of the staff was kind, friendly and courteous. Dr. Carter Wright was - hands down - the most thorough dentist I have experienced. He was very detailed in his explanations of everything. The hygienists have given me the most thorough cleanings I have ever received. Meet one of our dental assistants, Shannon!

Shannon joined our team here at Smith Mountain Dental Practice almost 10 years ago now! She is not only a veteran at dental assisting but is also a go-to team member when we face computer glitches, software updates and equipment failures! She can tackle any job! 💻💪

She graduated from Franklin County High School in 2008 and then earned a Bachelor's degree from Radford University in Social Work. When the company she worked for started to fade she sought new employment and applied here at SMLDP and we're so glad she did! 💯

When not at work, you can find Shannon spending time with her family, kayaking down a river, or jumping out of an airplane! 🛶 ✈️

Fun fact, she has a universal HVAC license!🛠👩‍🔧

What Shannon enjoys most about her job are the patients she meets and working with her fellow team mates.

Shannon, we are blessed that we found you 10 years ago! We adore the relationships that you've built with us and our patients!
