Congratulations Sarah Corbus! She is our Employee of the Month. Sarah is an RN and has been with us for 6 short months but already has become very important to Lacoba. She is very knowledgeable in her field and has shown strong leadership skills. She has gained the respect of her fellow coworkers and the residents. Thank you Sarah!

LACOBA Homes, Inc. currently has part-time positions on 7-3 shift and 3-11 shift. Full-time and part-time positions on 11-7 shift available for CNA's and NA's. These positions require the employee to work every other weekend. NA's will be required to attend class one day a week to complete required certification for CNA.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, Feeding, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant

or

- be 18 years of age and attend Nursing Assistant training classes provided by LACOBA to obtain certification after 4 months.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Activities is looking for Valentine's donations. Decorations, Valentine's Day cards, gift baskets, candy, etc. We will be having a King and Queen crowning on February 13th and would love to provide a wonderful celebration with our residents. Thank you all for everything you do for our residents!
