BLIZZARD UPDATE‼️

Please do not go out in this weather. Do not call 911 unless it is a true emergency.
Our squad is working with the fire department to respond to calls. Due to the large amounts of snow, flooding, and high winds it is not safe or easy for us to get out. Our response time will take longer.

If you have a true emergency please call us. Otherwise stay safe, stay indoors, and stay warm.

Monmouth Beach EMS was in attendance at the Monmouth County EMS Annual Line Officers Meeting. It always great to connect with other squads and see what fun, helpful resources the county provides for us if we need them.
Looking forward to a successful year!

Our very own Kevin Keeshen!!! This man is a legend. Monmouth Beach is lucky to have him. He devotes his life to giving back to the community. Between First Aid, Fire, and OEM, he also manages to have an amazing family and a prize winning dog. He is a true inspiration always willing to help others. We are lucky to have him.
Congratulations to Kevin!!!

Congratulations to our own Kevin Keeshan! On Sunday, Kevin was awarded the LEGION OF HONOR by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America. This highly respected honor was presented at the annual FOUR CHAPLAINS MEMORIAL SERVICE at Middletown Post 2179 in Port Monmouth. The honor can only be bestowed with a nomination from a member of the the Legion of Honor. It signifies a special recognition for an individual who puts service to others first. In Kevin’s case, he has spent his entire adult life serving the community of Monmouth Beach. From Fire Chief to First Aid Captain to current MB Emergency Management Coordinator, Kevin has stepped up. He has been part of multiple life saving rescues over the years in Fire and Ems within the borough. We are fortunate to have him among us. I highly recommend you look up the story of the sinking of the US Navy vessel Dorchester on February 3rd 1943. It is an incredible story of bravery and loss. The story of the Four Chaplains sacrifice that day will inspire.
Congratulations Kevin!

Training night!

RTK (Right-to-Know) and BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens) training is our annual state mandated requirement. It is for our squad members safety while dealing with hazardous chemicals or infectious materials. This training is in compliance with OSHA and focuses on hazard communication, exposure control, and safety protocols for handling biohazards.
Excellent class taught by some of the best - JHEC Training
