Bai Hui is nicknamed the Point of 100 Meeting or also called Heaven’s Gate. This is a well-known acupoint for horses, found on the top of the horse’s back where the lower back meets the croup (just before the tail). You’ll notice the area feels soft or spongy to the touch, and unlike other parts of the spine, you won’t feel any bony ridges sticking up along the center of the back.
Benefits the hindquarters & spinal column, can be used for arthritic conditions, lameness of the hips & hind legs, overexertion & irregular heat cycles. Because this point is the meeting point of 5 different acupuncture meridians it is useful for calming the entire body. 🐎
