Meet Tayler Bergstresser, Lab Assistant at OSF Holy Family Medical Center 💜
Tayler joined the OSF laboratory family in December 2024, bringing with her 10 years of experience and confidently choosing OSF as her forever career home.

💜 Favorite part of her job:
Tayler loves the connection she’s able to build with patients in such a short amount of time. She strives to be the “sunshine” in every patient’s day by making one of their least favorite appointments as gentle, effortless, and positive as possible.
From navigating unique patient experiences to tackling challenging veins, Tayler takes pride in giving each person the best blood draw experience they’ve ever had and creating a safe, welcoming place they feel comfortable returning to.

🙏 What serving with the greatest care and love means to Tayler:
“Treating every patient as if they were myself or a loved family member. Putting my feelings aside and being 100% focused on what that patient needs from me. Sometimes that’s a warm hand of comfort, sometimes it’s being a person for someone to vent to about their day, and sometimes it’s just as simple a good laugh. Serving isn’t just about the job you are doing but seeing beyond the surface level of physical needs and helping to meet a patient's emotional needs as well.”

She has a deep love for nature and lives in the country with her husband and family, surrounded by a pond and timber 🌿

She’s been an avid gym-goer for 11 years, even during pregnancies 💪

She’s recently fallen in love with sourdough baking, raising chickens and keeping bees with her extended family next door 🐝🐔🍞

She believes it’s truly the simple things in life that bring the most joy 🤍
