We are pleased to announce that our April Resident of the Month is Verla! Verla was raised in the small town of Luana, Iowa, alongside her three siblings. She has always been known for her kindness and her drive to stay busy—there isn’t a soul Verla wouldn’t help! She brought these traits to her career as a Business Office Manager for various businesses in Missouri.

Verla’s sister, Anita, speaks highly of Verla’s talent for creating beautiful blankets and quilts, which she often shared with her friends and family. Here in our community, Verla especially enjoys the meals and desserts prepared daily by our culinary team. Her best advice for a life well-lived is to keep busy and always make time for family and friends. Thank you, Verla, for being such a cherished member of our community! 💛

Our residents had a wonderful time helping with our planting event this week! Juanita was also presented with the ‘Green Thumb Award’ in recognition of her efforts over the past few years keeping our courtyard flower beds beautifully maintained, watered, and weed-free. A well-deserved honor! 💚
