The largest order to date and feeling so incredibly grateful! 🥹❤️

180 items — all handmade, hand-poured, washed, custom labeled, tagged, paired with instruction cards, individually packaged, and shipped to Naples, Florida.

This order came with so many learning moments around packaging, shipping, and time management, and I’m still in awe that someone chose my small business for their 70th birthday party favors. Gifting wellness feels so thoughtful, and as someone who loves practical gifts, this one meant a lot to me.

Out of 60 guests, I hope even one person feels the intention and care behind every product.

Taking a moment to thank God for these blessings. What started as a hobby four years ago has grown into something I now get to call my work, and I’m so grateful for every bit of support along the way.

I’ve been a little quiet lately, not because I’m struggling 😅 but because I’ve been busy behind the scenes. ✨

Remember that post about custom party favors for a 70th birthday party with Dave Matthews playing? It was very real and I’ve been working to fulfill 60 full party sets from start to finish. Each one includes goodnight sleep spray, roller blends, glow bar soaps, custom tags, instruction cards, and thoughtful packaging.

This order deserved more than one post because it’s a moment I’m genuinely proud of. What you don’t always see is everything in between. Hand pouring each product, cleaning bottles, printing and labeling, tying bags, and preparing everything for shipment. I don’t share this for a pat on the back but as a reminder to pause and acknowledge the details. This moment deserved that.

My heart has been full as I’ve worked through these orders with some of the best worship nights playing in the background and staying in my sweatpants for a few days straight. I’ll take this over a 9 to 5 any day because I love what I do and I’m grateful I get to create. My heart is full knowing someone chose to gift wellness to their guests while supporting my small business. Endless gratitude to my wonderful customer for trusting me with this order as I get these ready to send out this week. 🥹🫶🏻

Call it false spring or whatever it may be, but today’s sunshine and 50-degree temps had me doing all the things I love—and feeling a little less down in the dumps. ☀️🌱🤩

We went for a walk, cleaned my car, opened the windows, visited family, smiled a lot more, and got organized (yes, it’s Valentine’s Day, but my husband’s job lets us celebrate tomorrow instead).

So today, I did something that fills my cup and officially shared the beach yoga events. Can you believe this is year FOUR? I can’t wait to put my toes in the sand, listen to the waves, connect with nature, and see so many familiar faces again. 🌊🧘‍♀️

After what feels like the longest winter ever, it felt like the right time to book and share all of my spring and summer events with you.

A moment of truth… this winter really kicked my butt. 😅

I get the winter blues every year, but this one hit harder. A friend recently helped me see it differently, and it really clicked. As someone who is outdoorsy, spends so much time in nature, with my hands in the soil and simply being, the seasonal transition is tough. When all of that suddenly pauses, it hits deeper than I ever realized.

I’m still showing up, still grateful, still smiling—but doing it a little slower this season. I’m sharing this for understanding, not sympathy. As a small business owner, the pressure to keep going is real, but this year I chose to move more intentionally instead of pushing myself through exhaustion. Filling my own cup matters.

If I’ve seemed a little flaky lately, thank you for your patience. And truly—thank you to those who continue to support, order, and reach out. It means more than you know.

The good news? The sunshine showed up today and so did my energy. ✨ I’m officially scheduling our ANNUAL spring and summer events, with some dates pending review to be locked in. Think gentle movement, fresh air, lavender fields, sunsets, deep breaths, and community. Yoga in Lavender is back, beach yoga at sunset is in the works, and more opportunities to gather, slow down, and care for ourselves are coming. This is our fourth year of these events, and I’m excited to start sharing soon.

These winter day products have been my little comfort staples lately ❄️✨

The sauna was definitely hot, but this glow is from Summertime Glow Oil. I always layer it on before I go in because it helps my skin feel hydrated, calm, and nourished. Winter is when my skin feels the most sensitive, so having something that feels soothing and grounding makes such a difference for me. I love that it’s made with rose petals from my family’s garden… it makes it feel extra special, like a little piece of home in my self-care routine.

And my second favorite lately is the Winter Blues inhaler. Today I could feel that heavy winter mood creeping in, so I took a walk to the water, soaked up the sun, and took a few slow, deep breaths with it. Just giving yourself a moment to pause, breathe, and reset can really shift your energy.

This past year has been about living with intention. Choosing what brings peace, letting go of what feels heavy, and creating a life and business that truly feels aligned with my heart.

Almost five years ago, Tub Tea started in a season of survival. I was juggling multiple jobs, unsure of what the future held, and using late nights in my garage as a way to reconnect with myself. What began as a small creative outlet slowly became a space for healing, growth, and hope.

With the encouragement of my husband, who believed in me long before I fully believed in myself, this dream expanded. From building a garden, to creating an office, to growing my product line, I discovered how powerful creativity and nature can be. These products have supported me through so many seasons, and they continue to do so today.

Today, I’m spending my snow day finalizing new products, fulfilling orders, and feeling deeply grateful for a community that values slowing down, caring for themselves, and choosing softness in a busy world. Getting a call last night to create 60 gift sets for an event and for Dave Matthews was such a full-circle moment that reminded me how far this journey has come.

Through every season, your support has been constant. Thank you for walking alongside me. I hope you love what’s coming next as much as I do. 🤍🌱

I didn’t realize how much I carry with me until I laid it all out, but honestly… you never know when you’re going to need something. I’d rather have it and not need it than wish I did.

Winter is beautiful, but it’s also tough. It brings cozy moments and joy, but it’s also the season when my body and mood need a little extra love.
