PSA: Dear community,
As a mental health professional I work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, sadness, and cycles of suffering. This work requires me to use my energy to help them work through what they are going though. After which I need to recharge and restore my own energy.
That being said, if you do not talk to me on a regular basis please do not randomly call or text me because you are sad, you want me to up lift you, talk you through your sadness, panic attack, traumatic experience, or cycle of suffering.
If that is the support you need from me please make an appointment on Yougrowjin.us for 1:1 wellness coaching or call your therapist.
If you need coaching and don’t want to pay for it or simply can’t afford it, follow my blog (available on that same website) where I offer free wellness information that may work for you.
It’s not fair to me for you to call and emotionally dump expecting me to help you because we are “friends”. I don’t always have the mental capacity for that.
Moral:
If you want someone to respect the boundaries you’ve set for yourself you have to respect the boundaries they put in place for themselves. This is a boundary of mine. Please be mindful
