Snow Day Fun: Part 2! ❄️☃️

Yesterday’s snow day at Seacrest kept rolling into the afternoon as we celebrated National Bagel Day the best way we know how — by making bagels from scratch! From mixing and shaping to baking and sharing, every step was truly baked with love.

There’s something extra special about turning a winter day into a hands-on experience filled with smiles, teamwork, and delicious results. A snow day well spent! 🥯💛

❄️☃️ While many local schools enjoyed a snow day, Seacrest residents decided to have one of their own!

This morning, residents cooked up the perfect packing “snow” and used craft odds and ends to build mini snowmen of their very own. The creativity was snow joke!

All the fun of a snow day—with none of the freezing? Now that’s a winter win.

🛁 Happy National Rubber Ducky Day!
At Seacrest we celebrated with a day full of smiles, creativity, and a little friendly competition! 🦆

Our residents got their creative wings on this morning as they decorated their very own rubber duckies — each one as unique as the person who made it. 🎨

In the afternoon, those ducks hit the track for our Rubber Ducky Races, where there was plenty of cheering, laughter, and just a bit of fowl play along the way. 🏁

To make the day even brighter, our staff were treated to motivational rubber ducks — small reminders of how appreciated and amazing they are every day.

From creativity to laughter to racing fun, this was a sweet celebration that brought joy to residents and staff alike. 💛

🕊️ We Celebrated National Bird Day on January 5th 🐦

We spread our wings and celebrated National Bird Day by getting creative and giving back to our feathered friends! Our residents enjoyed making handmade bird feeders and then our Activity Team headed outdoors to hang them all around our grounds.

Now, those feeders are serving up a daily buffet for visiting birds—and an ongoing source of joy for our residents as they watch the birds gather, feast, and flutter about.

Moments like these remind us how meaningful simple connections with nature can be. 🌿

This month we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Maria, our amazing Dietary Manager! 💙🍽️

Maria has been in her role for 5 months, and in that short time she has made a huge impact. She truly makes every Seacrest event brighter—bringing the magic with dishes and baked treats that don’t just taste divine, but look absolutely beautiful too. From comfort foods to special celebrations, her creativity and care are always on full display.

Maria’s favorite comfort food? Pasta… with lots of veggies! 🍝🥦
She loves UFC, pool, and dancing, and when asked what she loves most about her job, her answer says it all: the people. ❤️

Maria, thank you for feeding more than just appetites—you bring warmth, joy, and heart to everything you do. We are so grateful to have you on the Seacrest team! 👏❄️
