This week we celebrate the incredible Nurse Practitioners who make a difference every day! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ We honor those who serve within our Family Solutions Correct Care service line, our amazing partners across facilities, and those who trust us in the continuum of care for their patients.

Through Correct Care, our Nurse Practitioners provide compassionate, trauma-informed behavioral health services in secure and correctional settings. 💫 They offer expert medication management, crisis intervention, and ongoing support for individuals facing mental health challenges. Their dedication helps create safer and more stable environments for both residents and staff.

In case you missed it, Family Solutions Counseling Center celebrated the opening of our newest clinic, our Extended Access Clinic located at 1300 Hudson Ln. Suite 9 in Monroe LA.

Our Extended Access Clinic was created with purpose:
• To provide expanded access to care for individuals and families who often face barriers, whether related to affordability, scheduling, or availability.
• To support provisionally licensed counselors as they earn supervised hours in a supportive outpatient setting, guided by expert mentorship from Dr. Brian Canfield.

🛻🧩 Family Solutions had a great time at the Annual Touch a Truck at the Ike Hamilton Expo! We hosted games, handed out prizes, shared resources, and invited kids to help build our interactive art canvas, because every child is a masterpiece in progress.

🎃👻Seeing all the costumes made the day even better! We loved connecting with families and sharing how our team supports children and teens through counseling, ABA, and pediatric therapy.

🎉Closing Out Day One – Fall 2025 Conference

The second half of today was equally impactful. Thank you to Dr. Alberta Green for presenting Ethical & Holistic Supervision, Lori Anderson and her in-site on Trauma-Informed Care through the Brain Architecture Game, Dr. John Webb for educating us on AI in Mental Health, and finally our roundtable team with our very own Jessica Marchand, Kaitlyn Formals, Lauren Bennett, & Lauren Kennedy with discussions on Supervision: Two Sides of the Desk, and sharing their knowledge and experience.

Each session reinforced what we believe: investing in counselors is investing in communities. At the center of it all is love, service, and the commitment to grow together.
