I know it's a bit late, but this is my second PSA of the year urging you to be safe on this New Year's Eve.

Please don't drink and drive.

Please drink in moderation.

And if you absolutely insist upon using fireworks, which is illegal in most cities and incredibly rude to veterans, people with pets, and new parents, at least use them safely.

You are neither as fast, skilled, or lucky as you think you are, and you don't get a second chance to find out if the fuse is bad. Do NOT hold any firecracker, no matter how small, in your hand, for any length of time.
