🎉 Community Celebration Day
📅 Monday, March 23, 2026
🕛 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
📍 1511 Orange Street, Monroe, LA

Join us for a FREE community event right after the official ribbon cutting! Enjoy free food, door prizes every 30 minutes, kids’ activities, bounce houses, games, sweet treats, and on-site wellness checks. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and come celebrate health, wellness, and community with us!

As we close out Black History Month, we’re proud to celebrate our own Elisha Wilkinson, recipient of the Kristin Morris Rising Professional Award! 👏🏾✨

Elisha is the President of Queens of Tomorrow, a mentorship program founded in 2019 that builds character, integrity, and confidence in young girls. The program now serves 50+ girls in grades 6–12 and recently expanded with Young Queens for grades 1–5.

February can be full of hearts and love—yet for many, it also brings grief to the surface. If you’re missing someone, feeling heavy, or finding this season hard, you’re not alone.

Grief is love that still has somewhere to go. It can show up as sadness, anger, numbness, guilt, or even moments of joy that catch you off guard. All of it is normal. There’s no “right way” to grieve and no timeline you have to meet.

A few gentle reminders for this month:
❤️ It’s okay to honor them—say their name, share a memory, light a candle.
❤️ It’s okay to set boundaries around events, posts, or gatherings.
❤️ It’s okay to feel two things at once—love and pain can live together.
❤️ It’s okay to ask for support.

If grief feels overwhelming, People United Behavioral Health is here to support you and your family with compassion and care. You don’t have to walk through it alone. 🤍
