Just completed this oak end table with interior compartment to hide a liter box. End table is stained espresso with multiple coats of satin poly. Customers' wanted a sturdy replacement for their current big box store end table.

Decided it's a new year and needed to LEVEL UP some projects and skills.

Project #1 -Made a figured walnut cutting board with hard maple accent with my first attempt at a juice groove.
Project #2- A platter tray was my first attempt at making recessed pockets. The tray is made with walnut, cherry, maple and padouk.

I was recently asked to make a personalized memorial slate plaque for a customer. Since that intial plaque, I have made 4 others. Plaques are 12" diameter slate laser engraved with a small painted wood cardinal. I have made plain plaques and also personalized with loved ones name, birth and death date.
