Three songs from recent Walt Disney Animation Studios features are reimagined and animated in American Sign Language!

The collaboration with Deaf West Theatre created new versions of some beloved songs, carefully reimagined and choreographed lyrics into ASL by focusing on concepts and emotion instead of a word-for-word transcription. Visit the first look below!

The Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council is working with Team Dynamics to offer free workshops around the state. These workshops are for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), their families, caregivers, and community partners.

You will learn:
What abuse and neglect are
Signs that someone may be hurting you or not treating you right
How to speak up for yourself
Who to tell if something feels wrong
What steps to take to get help

The in-person training will include simple activities, group talks, and practice exercises. The goal is to help people with IDD and their support teams stay safe and support each other!
