I have to talk about these tacos!

We’re making Crispy Cauliflower Tacos with Smoky Chipotle Adobo Sauce live on Zoom on March 15 at 6 PM Eastern and I cannot wait.

The cauliflower gets perfectly crisp, the chipotle adobo sauce is smoky and creamy with just the right kick, and the whole thing comes together in a way that makes you forget meat or cheese were ever part of the conversation.

That’s the kind of plant-based meal I care about!

We’re cooking it step by step together. I’ll walk you through how to build real flavor and texture so your meals actually hit and still support your gut and lower inflammation.

When you sign up, you’ll get the full recipe, grocery list, kitchen supply list, and the replay so you can make them again whenever you want.

Come cook with me.

At 45, I did not think this is where I would be, but here I am. I try to make the best of it, and one way I do that is through cooking. No matter where I am in life, the kitchen is always home.

I grew up cooking with my grandma and my mom, so getting back in the kitchen with her to host this dinner party felt nostalgic in the best way.

Life does not always unfold the way we imagine it will, but I am grateful for these moments, these memories, and this laughter.

The new video is up, and I hope you will give it a watch.

Chronic pain is not something I get to ignore.

I live with an autoimmune disease, which means I have to be intentional about how I support my body every single day.

One habit I have stayed consistent with is drinking a green juice daily. It is a simple way to get more micronutrients in, support my gut, and stay proactive instead of reactive.

Over time, that consistency has made a noticeable difference in how I manage pain.

If you live with chronic pain, you already know that small daily habits matter more than dramatic overhauls.

Green juice recipe is on solfoodcollective.com.

this might be one of the healthiest treats you can give your dog.

plain green beans are low in calories, high in fiber, and full of vitamins like a, c, and k.

always serve them plain. no salt, butter, or seasoning.

would your dog eat these?

I very rarely buy vegetable broth.

I save my vegetable scraps, simmer them, and make my own. No additives. Lower sodium. Better for digestion. Way more flavor.

Full vegetable broth tutorial is in my latest YouTube video:

SolFood cooking classes are back!

This has been a long time coming.

During the pandemic I was teaching online cooking classes every Sunday. Then I opened the kitchen and had exactly zero time to do anything else. And somehow… five years flew by.

So many of you from the original SolFood Collective Cooking Club have been waiting for this moment. I’m sorry it took me this long.

A couple weeks ago I posted these crispy cauliflower tacos I whipped together and the response was wild. So I figured… give the people what they want!

We’re kicking it off with:

Crispy Cauliflower Tacos
with chipotle adobo sauce
Live on Zoom
Sunday, March 15
6PM ET

These are little flavor bombs. Crunchy, smoky, bright, layered. And you don’t have to be a kitchen wizard to make this incredible meal.

I’m so excited to reconnect with the OG Cooking Club crew and meet all the new faces who want in.

Chocolate for breakfast?
Yes. And it’s not a sugar bomb.

These chocolate overnight oats are rolled oats, chia, cacao, banana, and peanut butter, which means fiber, healthy fats, antioxidants, and steady energy.

It tastes like dessert. It behaves like breakfast.

I walk you through exactly how to make it on my YouTube channel, and there’s a downloadable printable recipe waiting for you in the description.

I usually eat 1–3 Brazil nuts per day.

That’s it.

They’re one of the most concentrated natural sources of selenium — a mineral that plays a critical role in thyroid function, immune support, antioxidant protection, and lowering inflammation.

Your thyroid impacts metabolism, energy, hormone balance… so small daily habits matter.

The key is moderation. These are potent. A small amount goes a long way.

Food as medicine doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s as simple as one intentional choice.

Have you ever added Brazil nuts to your routine?

YOUR GIRL IS BACK ON YOUTUBE.

I started my YouTube channel years ago, but after leaving California during the pandemic, moving back to Michigan, and opening my kitchen, the videos became few and far between.

I decided 2026 is my year for big change.

I’m spilling my guts on starting over in my 40s, life with ankylosing spondylitis, and my not-so-great housing situation.

It’s entertaining. I talk a lot. I go off on tangents. I can’t shut up about coffee. I rotate the same three outfits. And yes, I show you how to make my favorite recipes.

My recipe blog is back up and running too, so you’ll be able to download everything.

If you feel like it, head over to YouTube, subscribe, and say hi in the comments.

You’ve supported me through every pivot, every risk, every slightly unhinged idea. I don’t take that lightly. I’m grateful for you.

SolFood Collective

The Collective was started by Chef Jacquelyn Jones, featured on the Food Network, and founder of Starving and Single to bring people together to share a beautiful afternoon of self love, self care, and connection. It embodies a variety of teachers and healers to help you connect your mind, body, soul, and spirit. Jacquelyn and the teachers strongly believe in the power of making the connection between the mind and belly and want to share with others how to do so. When the mind and belly are connected, the body can live in balance. To help you make the connection, we start off with a yoga and meditation class, followed by a three course plant-based meal prepared by Chef Jacquelyn. All produce is organic, non-gmo, and sourced from our local farmers, and the meals are made from scratch. What we put into our bodies is as important as how we take care of our minds. Just as food is medicine and can prevent and cure disease, meditation can change the structure of your brain. We at the Collective focus on teaching you how to make the connection and live a balanced life. When you spend the afternoon with us, you'll relax your mind, move your body, and fill your belly with a plant-based meal. Chef Jacquelyn shares her story on how she healed herself using food as medicine, explains the nutritional advantage in each dish served, and sends you off with a tasty gift and recipe card. It's a luxurious experience you don't want to miss.
