Reflecting on this time, three years ago, I was a brand new provider, eager and anxiously counting down the days until our AFH would initially be licensed; this year, I enjoyed the opportunity to present and be a part of the Long-Term Care Foundation of Washington State team to fellow providers.

Here’s to the relationships made, the opportunities to grow received, the chances taken and what awaits ahead.

This time three years ago, I was all sorts of emotions, attending my first AFH Fall Leadership Conference while being less than two weeks away from going through the initial licensing process.

Fast forward to last week - 4 local AFH providers and 5 industry peers joined us for our first “official” Monroe Provider Network quarterly meet up! We are better together!

Big thanks to El Paraiso Mexican Grill Monroe for always being hospitable and great drinks! 🍹

I feel so lucky to have reconnected just at the right time for us both!

Last night during our monthly A-Team meeting, she proposed to take charge of facilitating a weekly Menu Planning practice, providing a space for all residents who want to share input can and be more involved in meal decisions. Ashley’s also taken on grocery ordering, weekly inventory and maintaining our kitchen standards!
