Phifer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He has operated a solo practice in Monroe for twenty nine years and is known for his thoroughness in performing an eye exam. Each patient receives individual care based on their needs - not hurried through as in many large clinics. In addition to the routine e

ye exams, Dr. Phifer also offers a full range of optometric services. He performs pre-lasik and post-lasik examinations as well as follow-up care for cataract surgery.

Phifer Eye will be closed for vacation from Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18. We will reopen on Monday, July 21 with normal business hours.
