As the weather warms up across the Carolinas, there is a simple, free way to support your metabolic health - morning sunlight! ☀️

Did you know that getting 10-15 minutes of sun exposure before 10AM does more than just provide Vitamin D? It helps "set" your internal clock, leading to better sleep and improved blood sugar management throughout the day.

At Community Health Services, we believe in proactive care. Have questions about your Vitamin D levels or metabolic health? Call 704-296-0909 to learn how we can help.

Meet Amy, our Nursing Supervisor, who has been part of our clinic family for 19 years.

She oversees staff, coordinates student rotations, assists with triage and labs, manages applications and records, and helps gather data for grants - all to ensure patients receive excellent care.

Amy chose CHSUC to help uninsured community members access healthcare and better understand their medical conditions. She hopes every patient feels safe and cared for when visiting the clinic.

When she’s not at work, you can find her gardening, reading, or traveling.

Thank you, Amy, for your 19 years of dedication and service!
