Dr. Estis’ personal experiences as an Adult Child of an Alcoholic (ACOA) shaped his professional philosophy of addiction and recovery. Combining insights from his family of origin and professional training has intensified his desire to offer hope to those who have alienated themselves from self and others via alcoholism, addictions, and/or responses to life’s circumstances.
