The Eta Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was blessed to serve chicken and sausage gumbo to those in need in the Downtown Monroe community. We were honored to be of service and to share warmth, love, and fellowship. Special thanks to all the Sorors who came out to support this service event, to our President Brittney Sanders for the inspiring idea and leadership, and a heartfelt thank you to Soror Medria Taylor for cooking the gumbo—it was delicious and truly food for the soul. Together in this New Year, may we continue to uplift our community through service, purpose, and love.

Soror Emanuel is remembered by her beautiful smile, kind spirit and loving demeanor.
