It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our founder, leader, mentor, and friend, Joseph William “Billy” Jones, Jr.
Billy co-founded Gericare and Crowne Health Care with a simple but powerful mission – to serve others with compassion, integrity and excellence. His vision helped build not only a company, but a family dedicated to caring for senior care residents across Alabama.
For decades, “Mr. Billy” devoted his life to healthcare, leadership and service. His heart was always centered on people. He believed in doing things the right way, supporting others quietly and generously, and creating opportunities that would make a lasting difference.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Billy was a man of deep faith, love for his family, and unwavering commitment to his hometown and the communities he served.
His legacy lives on in every resident cared for, every employee supported, and every life touched through the work we do each day.
We are incredibly grateful for his leadership, his kindness, and the foundation he built for all of us. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
