Co-written and illustrated with licensed professional counselor and art therapist Jacqueline Blankenship, this heartwarming story celebrates family, love, and acceptance. Meet Devin Finley, July’s Employee Spotlight. Devin’s journey with Jade Wellness Center is nothing short of inspiring. After battling 11 years of addiction and facing numerous challenges, Devin made a life-changing decision in 2016 when he walked through the doors of Jade as a client following his final charge. With determination and support, he completed the program in 2017 and began rebuilding his life, starting with regaining confidence, stability, and purpose.

In 2020, Devin earned his Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification and joined the Jade team professionally. From day one, he stood out for his natural ability to connect with clients, offering them hope, trust, and real-life understanding. His compassion and consistency quickly made him an invaluable member of the team.

Today, Devin has most recently been promoted to the CRS Supervisor and oversees Jade’s Center of Excellence program, a promotion that was well deserved. He leads with empathy, drawing from his own lived experience to mentor his team and support clients in their recovery journeys. For Devin, every day brings something new-and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I couldn’t imagine myself working anywhere else,” Devin shares. “This work is personal to me, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to give back.”

When he’s not at Jade, Devin enjoys spending quality time with his daughters and family. We’re so proud to have Devin as part of our Jade family. Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished. Here’s to many more years of impact and inspiration!
