Frederick Christian Counseling
Frederick Christian Counseling is a niche private practice serving Frederick, Maryland and the surrounding areas. Our office is in Monrovia, Maryland - conveniently located near Urbana, Mt. Airy, New Market, Ijamsville, and Damascus. Our primary focus is on what Jesus can AND DOES do through the wisdom and principles that the Bible teaches. Our treatment team is committed to using Biblical approaches as well as evidence-based, clinically-sound modalities for treating anxiety, depression, parenting issues, infidelity recovery, and marriage issues.
Our practice is well known for prompt communication, compassionate care, and protecting patient privacy. Patients of our practice have an opportunity to use our state-of-the-art, triple encrypted, electronic health record to communicate with their therapist via secure messaging. Our high-tech, paperless office uses an electronic health record (with bank level security) and gives our patients the opportunity and convenience of securely scheduling appointments, making payments, sharing documents, and sending messages. Our goal is to make the process super secure (HIPPA compliant) and convenient, and to save some trees!
Our Practice Philosophy
We believe that God has a plan for each and every person, and complete healing & wholeness comes from being in alignment with His plan. We believe in meeting you wherever you are spiritually, and we respect each person’s unique journey. We know that it helps to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and that the therapeutic relationship is one of the ways this is done. We believe that in order to apply God’s wisdom to one’s situation, you need someone who walks that out in their own life, and someone who’s experienced, knowledgeable, and humbly committed to following Christ.
