🎉 CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES — ROOTS TURNS 8! 🎉

This week, Roots Rehab turned 8 years old, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

Eight years of healing, learning, growing, stretching (literally and figuratively!), and serving this incredible community that we love so much. We’ve had seasons of expansion, contraction, deep reflection, and powerful transformation, and through it all, Roots has remained a place of purpose, connection, and heart.

This little practice has been my haven. A space where I’ve had the privilege to do the work I feel truly called to do. I’ve grown professionally, clinically, and personally in ways I never could’ve imagined. And I’ve had the absolute honor of working alongside some of the most dedicated, brilliant, and compassionate humans in the field.

It hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it.

To our amazing community: THANK YOU for trusting us on your journey.
To the doctors who continue to refer with confidence: THANK YOU for believing in us.
And to my incredible team: THANK YOU for being the heart and soul of this place.

✨ Two years ago, over Labor Day weekend, Roots Rehab packed up and moved into a brand-new adventure—joining forces under one roof with Stepping Stones Physical Therapy - Helena, MT and First Words Speech & Language to open Mountaintop Therapies. ✨
Since then, our halls have been filled with laughter, teamwork, and countless moments of growth. Together, we’ve created a space where kids and families can climb higher, supported by a collaborative team that believes in the power of connection. 💙
We’re so grateful for these last two years—and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead as we continue to build, dream, and grow side-by-side. 🌟

🌸 It’s World Breastfeeding Week! 🌸
At Roots Rehab, we know feeding can be one of the most joyful — and challenging — parts of early parenthood. Whether you’re nursing, pumping, bottle feeding, or figuring it all out, you deserve support that meets you where you are.

We’re excited to share that Morgan, one of our pediatric occupational therapists, is now a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)! 🤱💛

✨ What makes this combo so special?
Occupational therapists are trained to look at the whole picture — sensory needs, oral-motor skills, body positioning, routines, and caregiver support. Add lactation expertise to that, and you’ve got a superpowered approach to feeding.

This means we’re expanding our feeding services to support babies and families with:
✔️ Latch and positioning
✔️ Bottle transitions
✔️ Oral-motor skill development
✔️ Feeding challenges and more
