Congratulations to my amazing friend Dr Yolanda Tammaro!! Her patient wrote a book about her cancer journey. And then dedicated a chapter about her influence during that difficult time. Yolanda was awarded her for her amazing work and immense dedication.

No filter needed because these women are already so beautiful inside and out!!! Wouldn’t you agree with me?

I have the best patients. The patient who wrote this post makes the absolute most delicious and beautiful cookies I have ever seen. She has also taught me a lot too. I am blessed to be surrounded by amazing patients and staff that teach me every day.

I tell patients all the time. Doctors are like pairs of shoes. There are many different types. Some may like sneakers while other prefer heels or boots. Shoes help protect our feet to get from one place to another. Physicians are the same. We all have to find the right fit for each other.
