ComMUnity Service 🩵
This past week our chapter sister Lismely Garcia (FA’24), Karla Fuentes (FA’24) and Aborigena sister Kaisa Rivera (SP’25) came together for a Rutgers Newark Clean up.
Our sisters got to help the community by cleaning up the roads,sidewalks and important areas of this campus . As well as engaging with others and coming together as a community for this service. 🤍
Great job ladies we are so proud of you . 🫶🏼

Our event will kick off with cafecito, cultural snacks, and a short presentation on the meaning of Hispanic Heritage Month & Latinx identity. Then we’ll dive into guided discussions, story sharing, and wrap up with a lively game night featuring cards, dominos, jenga, music, and more!🎉

9/11 National Day of ComMunity Service! ❤️

In honor of September 11th, 2001 our chapter sisters Karla Fuentes (FA’24) and Lismely Garcia (FA’24) attended Montclair State University’s annual 9/11 Day of Service which offered a wide variety of community service events on and off campus!❤️
Our sisters were able to visit The Chelsea at Washington Township, where we had the chance to connect with the elderly, hear their life stories, and share laughs while playing games like charades and ‘this or that.’ It was such a heartwarming and memorable experience!”
