How to Return to Safety (Parasympathetic Mode)

🧘‍♀️ Regulation tools:

💨 Deep belly breathing (inhale 4, exhale 6)
🧠 Orienting: Look around and name 5 things you see
🖐 Touch: Hold your heart or rub your arms gently
🎵 Humming or singing (stimulates vagus nerve)
🤝 Safe connection: Call a friend, hug, or pet a dog
💡 Do one small thing that helps you feel safe and supported.
