🚀🧀 Holy smokes… I just launched my first food product, .noocha Noocha Superfoods, on AMAZON!

And honestly… it feels a little surreal.

A little more than year ago, I started working on this idea of creating a clean, ORGANIC, NON-FORTIFIED NUTRITIONAL YEAST that people could feel good about adding to their food every day.

If you don’t know what it is, I promise it tastes better than it sounds 😂 it’s a deactivated yeast that has a cheesy taste…without the dairy.

If you’ve ever bought nutritional yeast before, you may know that most leading brands are fortified with synthetic vitamins (which may not agree with some people bc of certain common MTFHR gene mutation)

That’s become the industry standard.

But I wanted to bring a nutritional yeast (also known as “nooch” without all the synthetic vitamins added to it.

So I made Noocha intentionally different.

✔️ Organic
✔️ Intentionally non-fortified (no synthetic vitamins added)
✔️ Simple, clean ingredient
✔️ A better way to get that cheesy flavor without dairy

Had such a great time meeting yall this past weekend at and sharing about .noocha ! And it was so nice to see familiar faces from the last event.

I gotta say our dairy free cheese dip was a hit again 😏

We won over some previous nutritional yeast haters and some picky kids with allergies with our queso dip, sooo I’m calling it a huge win 😉

vulnerable post 👇🏻

I LOVEEE building .superfoods (now Noocha 🤍). Like… truly. It’s one of the most exciting and fulfilling things I’ve ever done.

And just being real for a sec…building a startup while parenting two young boys after divorce is not for the weak😅. Some weeks feel heavy. There are moments where I spiral a bit, go quiet, and question everything.

Then a few days pass, my nervous system resets, and I’m like… oh yeah. This is it.

Nothing lights me up like working on this dream. I could pull all-nighters and still wake up energized because it gives me so much life. That’s how I know I have to give this my all.

And one of my favorite parts of all of this is knowing my boys are watching from the very beginning.

They help me, they’re involved, they see the behind-the-scenes and say “don’t give up mom. Just keep trying!” -(Emmett’s precious words) or when Ira asks to sprinkle Noocha on his meals because “it’s just soooo good, mom” and getting to build this alongside them makes me so freaking grateful and makes me want to keep going.

Hard days and all… this dream still feels pretty freaking worth it. 🤍

Ps. We are *hopefully* 🤏🏻 this close to getting on Amazon! (And when I say this close, that’s like 2 ish months haha). It’s a tough cookie, let me tell ya, but we are slowing chugging along.

We changed our name from Goldie’s to Noocha for trademark reasons, but once we did, it honestly made more sense than anything else.

I’m honestly SOOO grateful we’re making this shift now, BEFORE we scale further. It gives us a cleaner foundation and more room to grow without running into bigger issues down the line (not that new wines will arise 🫠)

Not every part of building a brand is pretty, but moments like this remind me that progress doesn’t always look like the original plan…and that’s totally okay! (and honestly expected).

I really do believe things unfold when they’re supposed to, and this feels like the right move at the right time.

If you’re new here, “nooch” is what people call nutritional yeast. It’s our hero ingredient, the thing our community already uses daily, and the word that comes up over and over when people talk about it in real life.

So don’t worry, it’s the same nooch. Same ingredients. Same obsession ;)

Just a name that better reflects the brand we’re building for the long term.

And if you’re wondering, Noocha is pronounced “new-chuh.” It comes from nooch, what people call nutritional yeast, which has always been at the heart of this brand.

Half the population can’t even process the synthetic vitamins in most nutritional yeast… let that sink in.

BUT most nutritional yeast brands add synthetic B vitamins to boost their label. (that’s why it’s known to be crazy high in B12 and other b vitamins).

Goldie’s doesn’t.

Here’s why that matters 👉🏻up to 50% of people have an MTHFR gene variant, which makes it harder for the body to process synthetic B vitamins. Instead of using them for energy, your body can store them and create imbalance over time.

And when I say “we” I say myself and my two little dudes! It’s their first time attending a Goldie’s event (yes, I’m slightly nervous and excited at the same time).
