On this Memorial Day 2026, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Through the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our volunteers, this observance became especially meaningful, bringing our community together in remembrance, gratitude, and respect.
Thank you to Colorado National Guard for providing the flyover that honored these heroes!!

Our sincere thanks to the VFW Post and Auxiliary #8121 for assisting with the the placement of flags at every headstone in the Homelake Veterans Cemetery in preparation for our Memorial Day Observance at 10 am on Monday, May 25th. We so appreciate all of your support!!

Homelake is honored to be one of the locations that the Colorado National Guard will support in their scheduled Flyovers for Memorial Day. They are scheduled to fly over our Homelake Veterans Cemetery at 10:43 a.m. on Monday, May 25th.

F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, will conduct a series of flyovers across the state in honor of Memorial Day. Homelake had some special visitors from the American Legion recently.
