Gossip can seem small in the moment. A quick comment, a shared story, something said when someone else isn’t around. But the truth is, gossip can leave wounds that run deep. Words have the power to build people up… but they also have the power to tear people down.

Many of us come to Celebrate Recovery carrying pain from things that were said about us, behind our backs or in moments when we were already struggling. Gossip can damage friendships, families, and even someone’s sense of worth. It can make someone feel isolated, judged, or unsafe in places where they should feel loved and supported.

At Celebrate Recovery, we want to be different. This is a place of healing, not hurting. A place where stories are safe, where struggles are met with compassion, and where we protect each other’s hearts. When someone shares their story here, it is sacred. It deserves respect, grace, and confidentiality.

Tonight, let’s remind ourselves that recovery is about honesty, humility, and love. Instead of speaking about someone’s struggle, let’s pray for them. Instead of repeating a story, let’s offer encouragement. Instead of tearing down, let’s build up.

If you’re struggling, hurting, or carrying the weight of something heavy, you are welcome here. No judgment. No gossip. Just people walking the road of healing together through Jesus.

Family trauma is one of the hardest things to face. The people who were supposed to love us, protect us, and make us feel safe sometimes leave the deepest wounds. And healing from that kind of hurt isn’t easy. It takes courage to look at the pain, to admit the brokenness, and to begin doing the hard work of healing.

For many of us, the patterns we struggle with today didn’t start with us. They were passed down through generations—unspoken pain, unhealthy coping, anger, fear, abandonment, addiction, silence. And somewhere along the way, someone has to make the brave choice to say, “It stops with me.”

That choice is not easy. Healing family trauma can mean setting boundaries, learning forgiveness, letting go of shame, and sometimes grieving the family we wish we had. It can feel lonely at times. It can feel unfair. But choosing healing is one of the most powerful things a person can do.

At Celebrate Recovery, we believe that God meets us right in the middle of our broken places. He doesn’t expect us to have it all figured out. He simply invites us to come as we are—hurt, confused, angry, tired—and begin the process of healing together.

You are not weak for struggling with family wounds. You are not dramatic for feeling the pain. And you are not alone in the journey of trying to break cycles that have existed for years.

Healing takes time. It takes grace. And sometimes it takes a community of people who understand what it means to walk through the hard things.

If you’re carrying the weight of family trauma, we want you to know there is hope. There is healing. And there are people ready to walk beside you as you take those steps forward.

You don’t have to carry it alone anymore.

Sometimes the week gets heavy. The struggles feel louder than the hope, and it can feel like you’re carrying things alone. We want you to know you’re not alone, even on the weeks we aren’t able to gather.

Celebrate Recovery will be cancelled this week, but our hearts and prayers are still with every single one of you who are walking through hard things. Whether you’re battling anxiety, hurt, addiction, grief, or just feeling worn down by life — you are seen, you are loved, and your story matters.

Healing doesn’t stop just because we aren’t meeting this week. Take time to lean into God, reach out to someone you trust, and remember that progress often happens in the quiet moments too.

We truly miss our CR family when we don’t get to meet. Our hope is that you’ll join us next week as we come back together to support one another, share our journeys, and continue walking the path of healing and freedom together.

You never have to fight your battles alone. We can’t wait to see you next week. ❤️

✨ Testimony Night — Tomorrow Night ✨

Tomorrow night is one of those nights you don’t want to miss.
We’ll be hearing a live testimony from Nate Minor, and we believe God is going to move in a powerful way.

There’s something so powerful about hearing how God meets someone right in the middle of their brokenness and turns it into a story of hope, healing, and freedom. If you’ve been struggling, doubting, hurting, or just needing a reminder that you’re not alone—this night is for you.

Come as you are. Bring a friend.
Let God remind you that no story is too messy and no one is too far gone. ❤️

We can’t wait to worship together and celebrate what God has done and is still doing.
