Spring is here—the season of awakening, growth, and fresh starts. In Traditional Asian Medicine, spring is more than just a change in weather—it’s the season of new beginnings, aligned with the Wood element, which represents movement, vitality, and expansion. Just as trees stretch toward the sky, we’re called to rise with the sun, shake off the heaviness of winter, and reconnect with nature’s upward momentum.

Check out our latest newsletter for more on all of our spring offerings at the clinic!

We are excited to start our Summer Skin Refresh this Sunday! We will be guided through this week of renewal by Elena (), Emma ( ), Minka ( ) and Zyrka ( ), spending time together refreshing the body, mind, and spirit with daily movement, massage, nourishing food, and natural medicine.

During this time, we will be sharing deep wisdom and practical tips from East Asian and Ayurvedic traditions to jumpstart your metabolism, cleanse the lymph, reduce inflammation, stimulate detoxification, balance the nervous system, and powerfully revitalize the skin.

These practices are simple and will easily integrate into your daily rituals to help you stay balanced, nourished, and attuned to the season.

There are still a few spots available to join. If you are interested, sending us a message, or call the clinic. Opening circle begins Sunday at 4pm PST! More details and sign up information in the link in bio.

It is an immense privilege to be a practitioner and student of East Asian Medicine, a practice that has been an integral part of my life for the past eighteen years. Every day I bear witness to the healing power of this medicine, which has rescued me and my family many times over. This is only possible because of the dedication and generosity of the millions of people who have devoted their lives to the practice, preservation, and expansion of this field, most of whom are of East Asian origin.

It is with deep sadness and anger that I also bear witness to the hate and violence perpetrated against the AAPI community. We see our friends, teachers, and colleagues ignored, disrespected, and victimized by ignorance, hate, and racism, all while their culture and wisdom is appropriated by others for profit. I am so deeply saddened by the violence committed on Jan 22nd, during a time of what should be a celebration. I offer my deepest sympathies to the community in this tragedy. Please join me in supporting the community who have protected and shared so much wisdom and healing with all of us.

In Traditional Asian Medicine Fall is associated with the lungs (yin), large intestine (yang), the color white and element of metal.

Energetically it is a time of contraction and delving inwards, following the expansion of the summer season. During this seasonal shift, it can be helpful to let go of anything that is no longer serving you or the collective, and to dedicate time and energy to support the body as we transition into the darker and colder months.

Now is a great time for acupuncture and supportive therapies as the body continues to move into the more yin portion of the year ✨. Questions about seasonal support? Drop them below. Happy Fall everyone 🍂

East Asian Medicine views the body as an energetic system that functions optimally when in dynamic balance ☯️.

Qi, or energy, flows to all parts of the body through a collection of connected pathways called meridians. Acupuncture points are specific locations where the meridians are accessible and where qi can be easily directed.

The acupuncture meridians correspond to 12 organ systems that are collectively responsible for all functions of the body, mind, and spirit. Health problems result when qi is insufficient, unbalanced, or interrupted in one or more of the meridians or organ systems. The goal of East Asian Medicine is to restore energetic balance to the body, mind, and spirit ✨.
