Our midwives have had a very busy week, with 5 beautiful baby girls born in the last 6 days! With 5 done, only 1 more to go for this month, and then it will be time to kick back and enjoy a slower holiday season as we prepare for a very busy 2026!

Currently, we are supporting our second labor and birth within a 24-hour timeframe. This family's affection and gratitude towards us are sincerely felt. The expectant mother considerately prepared delightful labor baskets for each birth worker. It is apparent that this client has an intimate knowledge of our preferences. Midwife Lauren's ability to function is undoubtedly enhanced by coffee — “instant midwife just add coffee.”

In usual fashion, Tennessee doesn’t know how to match its seasons. We get our first snow in early November while some of the fall leaves are hanging on. Meanwhile, we’ve been busy planning for the next season! The UMS team would love to invite you and your family to join us for our second annual Christmas party in our beautiful clinic space on December 13th. As we did last year, we will have finger foods, raffle baskets from local businesses, and photographer. So join us in adding it to your calendar!
