The UCMS team had a great time learning together today!

Did you know that CPMs do a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education every 3 years? This is one way our midwifery team stays up to date on the most accurate information to best serve our community.

So, 7 hours and 4 lectures later, our brains are full, and we are excited to apply everything we learned about lactation today!

You get the positive pregnancy test and then what? First think about the birth you want. Unmedicated or medicated? Low intervention or access to all the interventions? From there, consider your professional birth team who will specialize in and frequently works with your type of goals.

The UCMS midwives are CPMs. We specialize in natural, low intervention births at home. Blending holistic care with medical skills and knowledge, we most often utilize the holistic modalities while using an allopathic intervention when needed for the well-being of mom or baby.
