It’s been a busy week at Therapeutic Court. We started off the week visiting our State Capitol for Therapeutic Court Lobby Day to continue advocating for funding for the important work we do. We had an all participant Giveback, completing service work at the Moore Wright Group. Ended the week with the graduation of Josh from Drug Court and handing out our first “Outstanding Alumni” award to Walter!

Two graduations in one week!!
What a great week to celebrate our graduates from Grays Harbor County Therapeutic Court, Superior Court Division.
We graduated three participants from our Adult Drug Court program today, one of whom graduated from Family Recovery Court earlier this week! Each graduate has faced challenges head-on, made and maintained positive changes, and built a foundation for a brighter, healthier future. Along the way, each participant worked toward restoring and strengthening relationships, reuniting with children, family, loved ones, and connecting with others in recovery.
Through each graduate's dedication, one dependency case and three criminal court matters were dismissed, marking a step forward in breaking cycles of generational struggles.

Congratulations to our graduates on these incredible achievements, and best wishes for continued success in future endeavors and your recovery journeys! 🎓

Last but not least, a special thank you to our Alumni that continue to show up 🙌 and our community partners 🤝.

Success does not always look like a graduation, but a seed that’s been planted and despite the outcome of our program, continues to grow. 🌱

We are so proud of Sean who achieved his ultimate goal of reunification with his son. Sean now works as a supervisor at Destination Hope and Recovery helping others overcome obstacles and find their own way to recovery. Keep up the good work, we are proud of you! 👏🙌

Are you hiring? We would love for you to consider giving participants in Therapeutic Court an opportunity.

In Phase 2 of our program 20 hours minimum of work, education or community service is a weekly requirement.

We have several people looking for jobs. All participants are required to sign a release for their employers, giving you access to ask questions, provide feedback and see how they are doing with us.

Call or email anytime with your job opportunities and we will send them your way. Want a more formal partnership with referring, we can set that up to.

Wow! Yesterday we celebrated F I V E graduates from our Adult Drug Court program!! We had a packed courtroom filled with family, friends, alumni, professionals, law enforcement, and attorneys. Simply a proclamation that our program works and have a community that supports us! We had the opportunity to review on where they started and how they gained the abilities to remain abstinent from substances, to grow, reflect, and commit to a better path of managing life’s difficulties without returning to old habits.
There is never a dry eye when it comes to celebrating our graduates 🎓
Now they go on and conquer the next best thing, the rest of their lives 🙌

So fun for our participants and alumni to be out there representing Grays Harbor at the Recovery Run and the LCANA softball tournament in Longview this weekend! Fun fact, in addition to the first place trophy the (mostly) Alumni team even brought home the “Serenity” sportsmanship award! They just keep making us proud! 😊🏆🏃🏼🏃‍♀️
