💚 Together We Are Breaking the Stigma 💚
CCM Health is proud to have been a sponsor and supporter of the Breaking the Stigma Mental Health Awareness Night on January 8; an event created to normalize conversations around mental health for students, families, and our entire Chippewa County community.
At CCM Health, caring for our community means caring for the whole person—mind and body. That’s why we continue to expand access to behavioral health and mental health services, ensuring help is available close to home, without judgment, and without stigma.
This event reminded us of a powerful truth:
✨ 1 in 5 youth faces a mental health challenge
✨ Anxiety and depression impact many teens
✨ No one has to go through it alone—and it’s okay to ask for help
Thank you to the Chippewa CARE Collaborative and to the students who continue to break barriers, speak openly, and support each other.
And thank you to our community partners who stand with us in this mission.
💚 Together We Are Breaking the Stigma 💚
On January 8, the Chippewa County CARE Collaborative is hosting Mental Health Awareness Night at Montevideo High School during the Montevideo vs. MACCRAY boys’ basketball game and the swim meet vs Hutchinson.
This night is about more than athletics — it’s about students, families, and our community coming together to stand up to the stigma surrounding mental health. By showing up and supporting one another, our students are sending a powerful message: mental health matters, and it’s okay to talk about it.
✨ 1 in 5 youth experiences a mental health challenge
✨ Anxiety and depression impact many teens
✨ Help is available — and no one has to face challenges alone
By bringing this conversation into everyday school activities, we help make mental health a normal, supported part of life — not just something discussed in times of crisis.
