Here at Montezuma Creek, we're celebrating Native American Heritage Month with our Victim Advocacy program by assiting in hosting a fun and educational weaving event. Our participants enjoyed receiving a small piece of cardboard, which enabled them to learn how to weave and create simple yet beautiful designs. It was an excellent opportunity for everyone to connect, learn, and appreciate our rich cultural tradition.

We started the evening with dinner and a challenging game of to***co bingo, which was fun with many facts on why people shouldn't smoke.

Join us this evening for Bingo with a Purpose at 6 PM - 8 PM, a fantastic community event in Montezuma Creek.

Join us in enjoying the different kinds of bingo, including traditional, Navajo, and to***co bingo. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to discover some excellent resources within our community. This event is entirely free, so if you're free, we'd love for you to be part of something special! One more plus is that dinner will be provided for those who attend. 😉

Sharing some great news and passing along an opportunity for our youth!

We have exciting news: we're recruiting for the Hózhǫ́ Horizons Youth Council (HHYC) and need your help spreading the word! This is a powerful opportunity for youth (ages 13–21) living on or near the Navajo Nation to take on leadership roles and shape health and wellness in their communities. We are seeking two representatives from each Navajo Nation agency (Chinle, Eastern, Western, Fort Defiance, and Northern) to participate in this council.
Applications are due December 1st, and selected youth will be paid for their time, receive professional development, and join a network of Indigenous youth leaders.

Join Hozho'go Iina 365 and the Victim Advocacy Program for an exciting and interactive cooking workshop on October 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM. This event aims to bring families and the community together while promoting the importance of healing through the shared experience of baking. Participants will have the opportunity to learn new recipes and take home a copy of The Modern Navajo Kitchen cookbook.

Whether you're a seasoned cook or just starting out, this workshop is designed to accommodate all skill levels. Enjoy a night filled with delicious food, engaging conversation, and the chance to connect with others who share a passion for cooking and wellness.
