I am so thankful and grateful to my Nia tribe! Love dancing with you! Drop in's are welcome to Montfort classes, 6:00 p.m. Sunday and Thursday evenings (no class on Thanksgiving night of course). In Montfort we are no longer holding class outdoors, please come to the downtown Montfort Community Bldg. Sign up in advance on the High Barre website (thehighbarre.net) to join the Tuesday 4:30 p.m. class!

Tuesday: High Barre, Mineral Point @ 4:30
Thursday: Montfort VFW Shelter @ 6:00

FYI, in case of rain or until it becomes too cold, Montfort classes will be held in the Montfort Community Building.

Back to the indoors again for Nia class again. (I don't think we will get another weather opportunity to hold class outside again). 6:00 p.m. at the Montfort Community Building on Sunday and Thursday's. Bring water. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing to move in. 60 minute class for $5. See you there!

Hello Nia Tribe!
Want to take advantage of the wonderful fall weather this week. So, we are taking Nia back to the outdoors Thursday and on Sunday. Then weather will change again, and then back indoors! 6:00 at the VFW pavilion - the lights will be on!

Seems far too early to have snow in our forecast, but it is!
Reminder for class at 6:00 this evening. I want to thank everyone that has been coming to the indoor Nia classes (Sunday and Thursday evening's) and for being respectful of everyone's space that has been delineated. I sanitize all the door handles, tables, pens before you arrive, and have hand sanitizer for your use. If interested, we do have a couple spaces on the floor left.
Remember to wear shoes comfortable to move in, or grippy yoga socks, as we are not going bare foot for class. No need for a yoga mat as we are not using floor space in that way.

Autumn begins tomorrow. We are continuing Nia classes outdoors under the Montfort VFW Pavilion until the weather no longer allows. 6:00 p.m. on Sunday & Wednesday evenings. Will keep you informed as to when that may change.

Hope everyone found a way to enjoy your Labor Day weekend. It is so hard to believe our summer is over 🍁

Currently, our Sunday/Wednesday classes are still outdoors - BUT, changing our start time to 6:00 p.m. due to our days becoming shorter. When it does become too cold to remain outside, we will be moving into the Montfort Community Building... and I suspect our indoor classes will change to Sunday (will update you later when we get close to moving inside).

Wear comfortable shoes. Bring a yoga mat and water. Join me under the roof of the VFW pavilion in Montfort to move to the routine "Give It Up". Great music!!!!

Due to the heat index predicted, we will "skip" having Nia class on Wednesday and/or Thursday week. Sunday temps sound wonderful, so will plan to see you at the Montfort Pavilion 6:30 p.m.

Our weather report for today is questionable this evening... definitely will be hot and humid, and possible rain/thunderstorms during our class time. Last week we held class under the VFW pavilion while receiving a shower - loved it! Of course, until we get closer to 6:30 tonight, don't know if tonight will be light rain.
If I will be cancelling, I will send out another email between 5:30-6:00. If you hear nothing further, you will find me under the pavilion at 6:30.

Good Morning,
Took an early morning walk, came home dripping in sweat. Due to the heat indexes of 100-105 for today, plus the predicted rains later today, we shall reschedule our 6:30 class for Monday evening.

NEW LOCATION: Please meet at the Montfort VFW Pavilion. Located at the corner of W. maple and S. Johnson Street's. If traveling west through Montfort, pass the RR1 store & turn right at Mills Market onto Johnson St. You will come to a T, the pavilion is on your right, our ball diamond is straight ahead. It will require moving picnic tables. Looking forward to the change!

Nia class 6:30 tonight downtown at the Montfort Park. Sunday evening sounds questionnable with humidity/rain/temperature, and will keep you posted. Monday will be our alternate date if needed (and weather allows).

Rain predicted all day & into the night. Nia class rescheduled for tomorrow evening: Thursday, 6:30 at the downtown Montfort park. However, we will watch the humidity factor for tomorrow.

Sorry for the "break" from classes these last 3 weeks. Stitches are out, and it is time to carry on with our outdoor fitness classes!! Please join me at 6:30 p.m. on the basketball court in the Montfort Swimming Pool Park tomorrow. Remember to bring water, yoga mat, bug repellent, and wear comfortable shoes. $5 per class.
Classes are Sunday and Wednesday evening classes. I will keep you posted when inclement weather, or heat & humidity, might threaten. In such cases, Sunday class moves to Monday, and Wednesday will move to Thursday.

Hi! Class is on for tonight! 6:30 in the Montfort Park, either on or near the basketball court. Wear comfy tennis shoes, bring water & a yoga mat. Unless weather or some other unpredicted event occurs, we should be able to keep classes on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. (Keeping Monday & Thursday as our makeup class nights.)
