We are incredibly grateful to the Sons of the American Revolution – Freedom Chapter for honoring our Veterans with anniversary pins and certificates in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of America.

It was a meaningful and patriotic moment as we recognized the service, sacrifice, and dedication of the Veterans who call our community home. Thank you to the Freedom Chapter for taking the time to remember and honor those who have given so much for our country.

We are proud to celebrate our Veterans—yesterday, today, and always.

🐥🐧 Double the fun with Ducks and Penguins!🐧🐥

Last week we celebrated National Rubber Ducky Day withh a memory-matching game using adorable rubber duckies dressed like cowboys! 🤠- lots of smiles and great concentration!

Today was Penguin Awareness Day, and that meant our annual Polar Plunge 🧊🐧 Our residents bravely reached into the icy water to rescue the penguins before the timer ran out. There was a little hesitation at first, but even more courage, laughter, and cheering once the games began! With the cold weather coming up, we also sent everyone home with warm mittens to stay cozy. 🧤

These activities aren't just fun- they help with memory, focus, strength, sensory stimulation, confidence, and social connection. So proud of our brave residents and the joy we share everyday!

We’d like to send a big THANK YOU to Cathy from Heartland Transit for hosting our Friday morning snack social! 🍪☕ She spoiled us with delicious cookies and pastries from Montgomery Bakehouse, and our residents absolutely loved them.

Heartland Transit provides a much-needed service in our community, offering non-emergency transportation with wheelchair accessibility for those who need it. We are so grateful for partners like Kathy and Heartland Transit who help keep our residents connected and supported. 💚

A few of our residents had the joy of making and putting together special gifts for the City of Montgomery Police Department, Texas They were proudly presented to a few of our police officers today in honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day as a small thank-you for all they do to keep our community safe. We are so grateful for your service! 🚓💙

✨🎄 Holiday Cheer Has Officially Begun at Live Oak Senior Care! 🎄✨

We kicked off the festive season with a Christmas Tea Party Social, and it was a wonderful way to start spreading holiday joy.

Our residents enjoyed tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, and delicious Christmas cookies generously provided by St. Mary’s Altar Society — thank you for your kindness and holiday spirit!

Everyone had fun discovering their Elf Names and sharing favorite Christmas traditions, filling the room with laughter, memories, and plenty of cheer.

We’re looking forward to many more moments of joy this season!

Our residents had an absolute blast last week during our annual Turkey Trot, thanks to the wonderful Lake Creek High School Student Council who showed up dressed as the most delightful turkeys you’ve ever seen. 🦃🎉

Seeing our residents smile, laugh, and enjoy the moment reminded us just how much we have to be grateful for—especially the caring community that surrounds us.

🎃👻 Getting in the Spirit of Halloween at Live Oak Senior Care! 👻🎃

Our residents had a spook-tacular time this week getting creative and festive! 🍂✨ We made pudding cup pumpkin patches for our crEATive snack (and yes, they were as delicious as they were cute!), played a fun dice game to design our own paper jack-o’-lanterns, and even got hands-on with some Halloween science experiments thanks to the wonderful Lake Creek Student Council! 🧪🧡

It’s always such a joy to see our residents’ creativity and laughter fill the room. We’re so grateful for the fun memories we’re making together this spooky season! 🎃💛

🚘🔥 Engines revved and memories rolled in! 🔥🚘

Live Oak Senior Care had a high-octane experience thanks to the amazing folks from the 105 Cruisers Classic Car Show! They cruised in with an impressive lineup of vintage rides that turned our parking lot into a mini car show straight out of the golden age of motoring. 🏁

Our residents had a blast checking out the chrome, curves, and craftsmanship—some even picked out their favorites and posed for pictures like true car show pros! 📸💪

Big thanks to the 105 Cruisers for sharing their wheels and their stories with us. With doughnuts in hand and coffee in the cup, it was the perfect fuel for a morning of fun, nostalgia, and horsepower!

🏀 Slam Dunks & Smiles at Live Oak! 🏀

We always have a ball at Live Oak Senior Care! Our amazing residents showed off their skills on the arcade-style basketball hoop—and let’s just say, there were plenty of slam dunks and even more laughter. 😄

Even our administrator couldn’t resist joining in on the fun! It was a great reminder that you're never too old to shoot some hoops and enjoy a little friendly competition. 🧡

Moments like these make Live Oak feel like home. 🏡💫
