*I made this post a few years ago but it’s always relevant for this time of year*
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share something with y'all.
Yesterday morning I overheard a conversation in the locker room at my gym between a few ladies about their Thanksgiving.
One of the ladies was asked, "how was your Thanksgiving?" She said, "oh, I hate the holidays. After my daughter died a few years ago I can't enjoy any of the holidays".
She continued about how guilty she felt about that because her husband and other children are still here but that she just couldn't enjoy the holiday times.
I'm sharing this because I'm sure there's a few people here on my page that experience these same feelings of grief and sorrow this time of year. I want to let y'all know that God has placed a remedy here for us to use during these times.
This remedy is called 'Star of Bethlehem' and it is referred to as '“the emotional soother of pain and sorrows".
In the Bach Flower System, there is a category of remedies that are indicated for Despondency and Despair; Star of Bethlehem is in that group. This can also be defined as remedies that may support “depressive feelings”. Although each situation is different, Star of Bethlehem may help.
Praying everyone has a very blessed Thanksgiving.
