Migraines so severe

When I was 25, I had two little girls, ages 6 months and 1 1/2 years old. It was early morning and the day was just getting started. I had just taken a load of laundry and put it into the washer when it hit me. I had a migraine strike me so hard, it felt like a two by four had hit me in the back of the head. I was out.

When I came to, it was dark outside. I was disorientated. I even asked my 1 1/2 year old what time it was. Then it dawned on me, she wouldn’t know, so I got up to check on the time. It was 12 hours later.

I asked my daughter where her little baby sister was. She said that she is on the living room floor sleeping. I asked her what had she been doing while I was asleep. She told me of how she fed and changed her sister’s diaper. I had to see this. Sure enough on the living room floor on a blanket laid my baby surrounded by diapers, bottles, and toys. I went into the kitchen and there with the refrigerator door open, milk spilled, and food scattered, all the evidence of how my daughter fed herself and her sister.

I went through the many medical offices and professions looking for answers. Tests, medications, and suggestions didn’t help. It was just getting more and more frequent, severe, and debilitating.
