What’s our favorite season of the year? Football season of course!! The staff and residents held a Tailgate Party to put us in a Football Frenzy! Even the Activity Board is so excited it turned into a Football Stadium! We had our Grill Masters cooking up a nice Hamburger Lunch and the smell in the air got us ready for the afternoon! Co****le, Football Throwing Challenge and an extra point ping pong game was enjoyed by all! We Raffled off a 43” HGTV, perfect to watch Football on! Nachos, pizza rolls, brownie bites were delicious! Crowne Health Care wishes everyone a fun filled Football Season! Regardless of which team you are pulling for, the Crowne Team always wins!! ❤️🏈🏆📣🎉

We had an amazing time as the Monroe County High School football🏈 players and cheerleaders📣 brought their energy, spirit, and school pride to our facility for a special pep rally!✨✨✨

Our Residents and Staff loved cheering along, clapping to the chants, and feeling the excitement. 💛💙 It was such a joy to see the smiles, laughter, and community spirit shining bright.

We wrapped up CNA Week with a nacho bar hosted by ACG Hospice! 🌮🎉 It’s been a fun-filled few days of celebrating our amazing CNA team with great food, games, and prizes. While the week may be over, our appreciation for our CNA’s continues every single day. Thank you for all that you do! 💙

3 Strikes and you’re a Turkey!! Well, we didn’t have any turkeys today but we did manage a handful of spares!!! A few of our Residents enjoyed an outing to Bama Lanes for an Eat -n-Bowl afternoon! Our residents bowled so well we are thinking of forming a professional league!

Hats off to all our Dads, as we celebrate Father’s Day at Crowne Health Care of Montgomery. Today, all of our Father’s should wear a Crown and be King for the day! We were not able to make Crowns but we definitely did enjoy making some headwear for all of our Beloved Fathers! We wish all of our Fathers from our Staff, Residents, family and friends; a very Happy and Blessed Father’s Day!! To the world, you are a dad. To our family, you are the world!

Today was just the beginning of celebrating our amazing CNAs!💙
We kicked things off with goody bags and fun prizes throughout the day, and wrapped it up with a special coffee bar hosted by Gentiva Hospice! ☕🎁

Our CNAs are the heart of our facility — their dedication, compassion, and hard work never go unnoticed. Each and every one of them is deeply appreciated! 🙌💐

Day 4 of National Skilled Nursing Care week and we were so worn out we hit the floor, the dance floor that is! Today was the Funky 70’s: Disco era! We started the morning playing one of the most popular game shows of the 70’s: The Match Game! We continued with building staff and Resident connections by pairing each Resident with a Staff member to form teams to compete against each other. Questions were based on the Disco era. Teams won a miniature disco ball and container filled with the favorite candies of the 70’s. All participants won a disco ball cup filled with goodies. The afternoon was filled with Soul Train Live with Preston Frazier! We boogie oogie oogied until we couldn’t boogie no more! We enjoyed some “Electric” Sliders and frozen disco balls for an afternoon snack. The positive Vibes were Stayin’ Alive and we continue to dance like nobody is watching! ❤️🎼🕺🏻

It was a GLOBAL day as we continue to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week. Today was “TAPAS”try day: tastes from around the world. Diversity is our strength in Health Care. We wanted to show pride and unity within our facility. Staff and residents proudly displayed their ancestry and heritage with pride! We are all one world and we work together as one team! This morning started with a Flags of the World Contest with staff and residents winning a wide range of prizes with the world as the focal point. This afternoon was filled with fun and great sportsmanship with the “Tapestry Games”! We created a proclamation in an effort to make this an official Olympic Event! Staff and residents competed in The Human Tape Measure, Jack be Thimble Jack be Quick, Thread It, Measuring Cup and Beach Bucket Bingo! We ended the day with a variety of foods from all over the world! “It’s not the triumphs that mattered today, it was just the efforts we put forth and struggles we endure! One love!

If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands!! The hands of our staff and Residents are definitely hurting after today! We continued celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week with “Happy Days: the 50’s era.” We started the day with one of the most popular game shows from the 1950’s; Concentration. We paired a staff with a Resident to form teams to try and match prizes to win. The Grand prize winner had to solve the pictogram (pics and answers included). The Grand winners received a bucket filled with the most popular snacks and treats of the ‘50’s. Elvis was in the building wooing the hearts of many of our lady Residents. Some even were able to get a scarf from Elvis and one lucky lady actually got Elvis’ bracelet!! We were rockin’ and a Rollin’! We ended the day going to Arnold’s Diner for Rootbeer floats sponsored by Comfort Care Hospice!

Day 1 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week is in the books! We decorated the front porch as a patcheork quilt with artificial living panels! The theme this year is Tapestry of Life. We celebrated today by taking our Residents back to the Groovy 60’s! We pulled out our tie-dye and bell bottoms and joined in on the fun. We started the day with Flower Power, and even though the weather was a little wet, love always wins and the flowers, vegetables and herbs were planted! We spent the afternoon by having a Staff raffle for lava lamps and the residents entered a raffle for boxes of treats and candies that were famous in the 60’s! Staff and Residents came together and each made a single quilt patch with something special and symbolic in their lives. These squares of history and love will be put together and united to form one big quilt that will be put on display for all to enjoy! We ended the day with some sweet liquid “Lava Lamp”. We are definitely looking forward to what else this week has in store!

Another amazing day celebrating our incredible nurses! We kicked things off with a fun-filled Scavenger Hunt and great prizes, and wrapped up the day with a sweet visit from the Ice Cream Truck and our special Mother’s Day Basket drawing! Thank you to all the nurses for everything you do!
