Wishing the people that make me the luckiest person in the world a happy and healthy new year!

A few months ago, while racing I kept having trouble going around turn 6. The track was mucky and I was tired.

To turn 6, you enter low, accelerate fully, and power out. I grabbed the clutch, hit a rut, and crashed. Long story short surgery and a titanium implant is the reward for being cautious.

When I first closed, the amount of concern I received was overwhelming. The calls, cards, emails, and texts made it clear to me I was the luckiest person alive.

This is an oldie but a goodie. Your body is animated by the 80 or more billion neurons in your brain which meet your 31 spinal nerves at the base of your skull. The Atlas and Axis the top two bones in your neck protect this wonderful area from harm. If either one of these bones slips out of proper alignment health trouble occurs. The job of the Chiropractor is to keep your body running as well as possible by keeping your Atlas and Axis adjusted in their proper place !

Happy Hot JULY! we truly live in a great country.

Our client of the month is 4- week-old David. David was reported to nurse poorly, sleep rarely and cry and scream constantly.

we examined David checking for subluxation. Subluxation is when a
bone misaligns and pushes, chokes, excites, or inhibits proper nerve flow.

We discovered that David had a subluxation of C1 (Atlas). When Atlas subluxates all kinds of health problems can develop.

The first thing we did was correct the Atlas subluxation and within minutes David looked much better!

Further examination revealed that David had facet imbrication in his thoracic spine. Discussion with David's mom revealed that he had been a very difficult delivery.

Facet imbrication is when the spine is so far out of alignment that any normal motion is not possible. We adjusted David's spine and restored normal joint movement. Facet imbrication is very painful because the facet joint is extremely pain sensitive.

After the adjustment David slept for nearly 20 hours straight. In his mothers words -David is a new Baby!

Chiropractic is centered on spinal care. Chiropractic care is narrow in its approach and incredibly broad in its application.
