A few folks from our team hosted a women’s Love & Libido retreat this weekend. We had an amazing time creating space for women to slow down, get into their bodies, connect in community, and get back in touch with their er@tic selves. Looking forward to having another one soon!!

Looking for a low-barrier, s*x-positive group to recommend to clients struggling with desire, stress, or s*xual shame?

Come As You Are is a free, 6-week virtual therapy group grounded in Emily Nagoski’s work and facilitated by Sara Molony at Be Known. The group supports women-identified clients in understanding desire, reducing shame, and building a more compassionate relationship with their bodies and pleasure — without pressure to “fix” anything.

This can be a helpful adjunct to individual therapy or a gentle entry point for clients who aren’t quite ready for 1:1 s*x therapy.

🗓 Tuesdays, Feb 3–Mar 10 | 7–8:30 PM EST

📍 Virtual | OH & KY residents

💸 Free

Feel free to share with clients who may benefit — full details and referral info here:

Ever heard of "brakes" when it comes to intimacy? 🛑 In Emily Nagoski’s work, brakes are those thoughts, feelings, or situations that can slow down or halt our s*xual desire. These are some common ones we hear in therapy. Identifying your brakes is key to understanding what's holding you back. We have to ease off the brakes before we can apply accelerators, so it’s important to address these first when working on cultivating desire!

Choose just one of your brakes and create an action plan to address it. Small steps can make a big difference! 💛

I was recently asked to write my response to the top 3 s*x positions for a blog and the recipient wanted me to change my responses to be more specific. I told them that erectile disappointment is very nuanced and I always customize my approach for each of my clients and it wouldn’t be possible (or ethical, IMO) to make a blanket recommendation of three positions that are “best” for ED outside of what I provided. So I decided to write my own blog with my original responses to the request. Check it out at the link in the bio to see my recommendations! ***r

Since we often don’t get proper s*x education in the U.S. it’s unsurprising that if people don’t know the difference between their v_lva and v_gina, they may not know how to clean each part.

The v_gina is an excellent self-cleaner. It naturally maintains a healthy balance of bacteria and pH levels to keep itself clean.

The v_vla, on the other hand, can be treated like any other external body part that we clean. You can gently cleanse your v_lva with water and should avoid harsh soaps or douches. Embrace your body’s natural abilities to take care of itself. 🌿❤️
