Since December 2023, MNRC has proudly offered an excellent weekday lunch buffet program in our newly renovated Main Dining Room! 🍽️✨

Over the past year and a half, we’ve welcomed many participants, some of whom have been with us since day one! This program helps residents foster healthy eating habits, focus on nutritional and social goals, and enjoy the joy of dining together. Research shows residents eat better when they share meals, and our restaurant-style option makes that possible in the most fun and engaging way. 💙

It truly takes a team effort:
🌟 Our Admissions Coordinator, Ashley Mercer, who plates meals daily
🌟 Our amazing floor nurses, who supervise and ensure safety
🌟 Our dedicated Activities team serves plated meals, soups, desserts, and beverages to all 25 residents across seven tables.

With background music or TV playing, residents enjoy not just food but connection, chatting with one another, bonding with loved ones, and reviewing the day’s recreational activities.

The feedback has been incredible, and we’re always looking for ways to expand and make it even better! 💕

Nothing says summer like ice cream! 🍨💛

At Montgomery, we celebrated National Custard Ice Cream Day with everyone’s favorite flavors, classic vanilla, rich chocolate, and a crowd-pleaser, mint chocolate chip.
