Did you know that the safest way for your baby to sleep can be summed up in just 3 letters: ABC 💡

✨A - Alone: Baby should sleep in their own crib or bassinet, not sharing a bed.

✨C - Crib: Use a firm crib mattress with a fitted sheet, with no pillows, toys, or blankets.

🤱 Spit-up vs. Vomiting: What’s the Difference?

It’s common for new parents to wonder whether their baby’s spit-up is normal or something more concerning. Here’s a simple way to tell the difference:

✨ Spitting up is usually a small, gentle flow of milk that comes out easily, often right after feeding or with a burp.
🤢 Vomiting is stronger and involves the stomach muscles, pushing milk or formula out with more force.
🚀 Projectile vomiting is more intense, shooting stomach contents out forcefully and sometimes several feet away.

👉 Occasional spit-up or mild vomiting can be normal in healthy infants. But frequent or projectile vomiting may point to a condition like reflux or, in some cases, pyloric stenosis, a more serious issue that requires medical attention.
