Joni Villemez-Comeaux ​holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling, and is recognized as a National Board Certified Counselor. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor holding various professional positions within the substance abuse community, as well as having over 20 years of personal experience in 12 Step recovery. She is most passionate about bringing awareness and he

aling to the underlying foundation of eating disorders, as well as chemical and process addictions. Through her own experience and training she is well suited in serving those in the process of grief, be it from a physical death or life changing event. Joni has vast life experience, including three years serving as Program Director and counselor in the Texas Prison System. This profound experience with people who have lost their all helped to reinforce her ability to relate to people in all stages of their life's journey, truly seeing and guiding their authentic Self to the surface. Joni's experience as a Certified Parenting Instructor accounted for her success in her prior position as a Youth Counselor at a community non-profit agency. As a meditation teacher and Reiki Master, Joni also has an immense amount of knowledge and experience as a Spiritual guide, bringing over 20 years of experience in uncovering and discarding unconscious beliefs that keep us "stuck", be it in the area of love, relationships or career. Joni is gifted with a fun, dynamic personality and the ability to experience the best in everyone she meets, and can think of no higher calling than guiding and participating in the healing of individuals and families. She loves family, travel, volunteering, having fun, and hearing the sound of people laughing!

TM Meditation will see its last gathering on Wednesday the 14th as Jay heads into his grand adventure in grad school and prison treatment work.

Enlightened Eating will meet for the last time on Thursday, the 15th and will transition into an Eating Disorders Anonymous (EDA) meeting with time, day and location TBA.
