❄️🍨 Winter fun was in full swing at our Snowball Social! 🍨❄️

With fresh snow falling the day before, the timing couldn’t have been better. Residents enjoyed Snowball Sundaes with tasty toppings, great conversation, and plenty of smiles.

🍌🥧 No-Oven Baking with a Rock ‘n’ Roll Twist! 🥧🍌

Our No-Oven Oven Club met last week and made a no-bake peanut butter banana cream pie — and it was a hit! This recipe was chosen in honor of Elvis Presley’s birth month, since peanut butter and banana sandwiches was one of his favorite foods.

Residents had a great time mixing, chatting, and enjoying a sweet treat together — all without turning on the oven!

As we come to the end of 2025, we’re reflecting on the moments that made this season so meaningful for our residents. Together, we baked cookies, celebrated Hanukkah by playing the Dreidel game, enjoyed a festive Christmas party, opened presents, filled our halls with cheerful carols, and so much more.

We are incredibly grateful to those who helped make these moments extra special. A heartfelt thank-you to Daisy Troop 50175 for caroling with us and sharing handmade Christmas cards with every resident, to Hearts the Care for also providing Christmas cards, to live musicians Alyx and Allison, and to Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, along with our wonderful staff and visitors, for collecting and providing Christmas gifts for our residents.

As we look ahead to a new year, we carry these moments of kindness, connection, and joy with us. Thank you to everyone who helped make 2025 such a meaningful year in our community. Here’s to a happy and healthy new year!

Our community kicked off the holiday season in the most festive way! 🎄✨ Residents came together to decorate our beautiful Christmas tree with special thanks to Ascend Hospice for providing delicious hot cocoa that everyone enjoyed while decorating. It was the perfect cozy touch! ☕

The festivities continued as we gathered around for a special Tree Lighting Ceremony where residents toasted the season with festive mistletoe martini mocktails and plenty of holiday cheer. 🍸

Finally, residents enjoyed a fun, cultural activity making a Dutch Refrigerator Cake, taking a virtual vacation to the Netherlands, and learning about Sinterklaas and some Dutch winter holiday traditions!

We love seeing our residents come together to celebrate, create, and connect — making the season even brighter! 🌟
