Welcome to Montgomeryville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center! 👋

Our facility features spacious rooms in three units: short-term rehab, long-term care unit, and memory care unit. We also offer a 6-chair dialysis den managed by DaVita Dialysis that currently has openings for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday scheduling. Our facility's therapy department features all three disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy and has wonderful patient outcomes. We also have a full-time Respiratory Therapist on staff. Our outstanding nursing team allows us to take patients with life vests, milrinone drips, and tracheostomies, to name a few.

At Montgomeryville Skilled Nursing and Rehab, we are about to get spooky! 👹👺🎃

Halloween fun for our residents all day long: staff costume contest (judged by our residents), resident trick-or-treating through the building, and a party to complete the day of revelry. Tune in next week to see posts of all costumes and festivities and have a boo-tiful Halloween!

Congratulations to this week's "Leading With Heart" winner: Eduardo Virata! 💕❤️

Pictured with Ed is our Rehab Director, Mark Rawling, and our Administrator, Jonathon Weiland. Ed has excelled in his role as our physical therapist for 16 years, exhibiting both a caring and compassionate attitude towards his work while providing a high level of quality care to our patients. As you can see, Ed has an infectious smile, and team members feel he has outstanding listening skills. Always ready to assist other staff members, Ed also exemplifies dedication in our therapy department to maximize functional outcomes for our patients.

Ed is an essential member of the therapy team at Montgomeryville Skilled Nursing and Rehab, and we are honored to have him here. Thank you, Ed, for your dedication to our patients and Leading With Heart!!!

Congratulations to this week's "Leading with Heart" winner: Dignah Ricketts! 🎉

Dignah has been one of the facility's hardest-working CNAs for over 28 years. She is a true leader on our nursing team, often taking the lead in guiding and training our new CNAs. She takes personal pride in all that she does and truly loves taking care of her residents. We are blessed to have her as a member of our staff!

Henry Ford said, "Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success."

Staff and residents completed another collaborative piece of artwork! The murals that our facility has been completing have been therapeutic for everyone who has worked on them. These murals have given such joy to other residents, staff members, and visitors alike!

Together we are a success! ❤️🎨

🎀 Celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! 🎀

With beautiful blue skies and the sun shining over us this Wednesday afternoon, our facility celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month by releasing 55 pink balloons and stars. Staff, residents, and family members wrote the names of loved ones that won the battle over this disease, special dates when they were told they were cancer-free, and names of loved ones that we are remembering today. Staff showed their support by donning pink outfits and scrubs. 💕

Feeling lucky and ready to yell "BINGO"? 📣

Bingo is definitely our residents' happy place! They gather three times a week to win bingo money to get prizes at the bingo store. It is truly one of their favorite activities here at Montgomeryville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." - Pablo Picasso

Meet our 99 year old resident artist, Helen Gerhart! This sweet lady spreads so much joy throughout our facility and her artwork hangs in many of our staff members' offices. Her artwork has also been put on display on the large wall in our upstairs activity room.

Each morning, she meticulously chooses her picture to color with the help of our Medical Records Manager, Sharon Courduff. Helen has enjoyed drawing, painting, and coloring since she was a child. Her favorite color is yellow and she enjoys coloring pictures of fairies and queens.

We are so proud to display her artwork! 🖌️🎨

Our "Leading with Heart" weekly winner goes to Gage Bohning! 🎉

Gage is our Maintenance Assistant that just celebrated his 1 year anniversary with the facility. He always has a smile for our residents and treats them with the utmost respect and care. Gage is a dedicated member of our staff that is always ready and willing to lend a hand with other departments when needed. We appreciate everything you do for our residents and the facility!
