Last week, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident that was quickly upgraded to a rescue after crews confirmed one patient was trapped inside.

Crews went to work using a combination of Holmatro CORE and Pentheon tools to remove both the front and rear doors, allowing for a safe and efficient extrication. The patient was then transferred to EMS for further care.

This past weekend, Wrightsville Fire held an extrication training as part of their weekly drill. Crew members worked with a variety of tools, including Holmatro Pentheon and CORE tools.

Regular training like this is essential for keeping skills sharp and ensuring crews are ready when every second counts.
