This event will be October 15 from 8 to 11 AM at Lawrence County Hospital in the front parking lot!!

Below is an update from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office:

Lawrence County 911 is now back up and operational. Unless there are unexpected problems with the repairs, we expect the 911 service to operate as normal.
Please remember when calling 911 from a cellular phone there will be a slight delay between the time that the call begins and a radio operator picks up the emergency line. This is normal; the cell phone is searching for the nearest tower.

Everyone pay attention to this closely.

I was just notified that the 911 system is down statewide. AT&T is working hard to restore our services. If you need law enforcement, fire or EMS services, contact us on our administrative line at (601) 587-2961. Hopefully the problem will be resolved quickly, and we will make that notification then.
