See these?? They are two different medications. Both of which take care of the same thing! My blood pressure!

It didn’t used to be like this! Used to be I only took one. But weight gain and two kids later my blood pressure is barely contained with just these two medications. My goal however is to eliminate these entirely!

Every day is a new beginning, or so they say. Well this is the start of my new beginning. This number doesn’t define me but it does work as a starting point. And… I’m not proud of that number, not in the slightest.

This number is here because I’ve failed to keep a better eye at what I’ve been putting in my body. This number is here because my battle with depression left me susceptible to ill eating habits. But no more.

Today is the day of victory! Today is the day I take charge of my health once more and do what’s right for me. Not just for me, but for my babies. They deserve a healthy mom that can be there for them! And I plan on delivering!

So here’s to the new beginnings! Nobody said it would be easy. But it is possible. What’s yours?
